In this exciting scene study class students get the opportunity to rediscover a way to prepare that is organic and leads to exciting moment to moment work! Work on scenes from contemporary film and TV, while learning how to inhabit the character and focus on subtext and personalization. For actors making a transfer from theatre to on camera, this focus will make your work more intimate and lesson your need for external movement and projection.
In this class you will learn the fundamental techniques of The Method, which are relaxation and sense memory. This class is suitable for beginner actors and is also a great companion class for Jane’s on camera scene study class and is recommended for actors of all levels who have not studied with Jane before as there is some crossover between the two.

Take The Method class and On Camera session for $565. You will recieve 32 hrs of classes and be able to start implementing the method work in the on camera class so that you benefit from new technique while keeping to the requirements of an On camera performance.

As a working actor, Jane Moffat may on occasion request to reschedule Classes, Workshops and Private Coaching Sessions due to conflicting shoot dates for projects booked. In these unavoidable cases, Jane will personally coordinate an appropriate arrangement to compensate students for any lost hours of instruction.
